It is an expression used in Zen to describe the spirit in the tea ceremony, that is a calm, reserved, and quiet demeanour. " 和敬 - Wakei " refers to a reserved and reverent feeling, all the while maintaining a calm spirit. " 和 - Wa " refers to all matters being peaceful and harmonious.
